Members of the PetVision consortium recently visited the Department of Nuclear Medicine at MRI-TUM Klinikum Rechts der Isar in Munich, Germany, one of the clinical partners of the project.
During the visit, the team met with collaborators and had the opportunity to see the clinical facilities where the first tests of the PetVision scanner will be performed. In the future studies, the system will be evaluated on volunteer patients after their routine PET/CT examination.
The visit marked an important step toward the clinical translation of the PetVision technology and closer collaboration between detector development teams and clinical experts.
